About Paul Lewis

Paul Lewis is an enigma within the design community: he is an aesthete who understands construction limitations, space utilization, practical application of materials, and budgetary constraints. His work is not only stunning . . . it’s intelligent.

Paul is a Summa Cum Laude graduate from the University of Charleston, West Virginia with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Marketing and Management. He furthered his education obtaining an Associate Degree in Interior Design at St. Petersburg College, Florida. He is licensed in the state of Florida as both an Interior Designer and a Certified Residential Contractor.

His professional career began in 1980 as the manager, and later partner, of an interior design studio in Spring Hill, Florida. He relocated to Fort Myers, Florida in 1986 to merchandise model home interiors for a national architectural firm. Paul has been self-employed in the Tampa Bay area since 1990, merchandising homes for national and international builders – Ryan Homes, M/I Homes, Pulte Homes, Taylor-Woodrow, etc. – leading him eventually to Germany merchandising interiors for the German-Dutch firm, Interhomes, ghb.

His homes have garnered awards for the builders with whom he has worked in nearly every category for which they have been submitted. He, and his work in both merchandising and private residential design, have been published numerous times in Florida, Georgia, and Germany. Since 2007 Paul has successfully concentrated on mid to high-end private residential interiors and commercial interior design.
